Your child will feel at home with caring, trained nursery attendants who maintain a safe clean enviroment for them as you worship. It is our intent to give you a season each service where you can concentrate on your worship, and hearing from the Lord, knowing your child is in good hands at all times. Enjoy this ministry. About Our Nursery

We would like to warmly welcome you and your child/children to Victory’s Infant/Toddler Program, “A MOTHER’S HEART”.   We trust your visit to our church will not only be inviting, but also a life-changing experience for you!

Whether you continue to visit or you decide to make Victory your “home”, you will find our values in every area of church life and ministry…from the youngest to the oldest…WE VALUE PEOPLE AND WE VALUE SERVICE!

God’s Word expressly says in Matthew 18:5 that “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on My Behalf is welcoming Me.”  Our “Mother's heart” Program is designed to make each baby and toddler feel  welcomed   and   accepted  through  God’s  love and our love!

The Nursery Care Staff

We at Victory Christian Center love your children!  One of our many desires for your child is to make learning about Jesus and the Bible a fun and exciting adventure.  

We have lessons, arts-n-crafts, and activities designed for each age group from 3 years old through kindergarten age.  These classes are defined by fine motor skills just like school.  For example, in the Pre kindergarten, if cutting with scissors or writing their name has not been mastered they will be frustrated.

We know that your child is gifted above the norm, but we know that you will understand even Jesus waited until he was 12 to visit the temple. We have graduation once a year in August with a water day party!!
 

 

FAQ's

 

“Mother’s Heart” exists to not only care for your infant or toddler, but also to make sure you, as a parent, receive ministry and refreshing at Victory, knowing that your little ones are being loved and cared for.
In order to ensure this takes place, please review the following rules and procedures so we can work together as a “team” to accomplish this goal.

Check-In & Pick-Up

Our nursery opens 30 minutes before each service.  Prior to this, the “Mothers Heart''s” team is busy preparing for ministry time; therefore, we can not accommodate early sign-in.

Check-In Times:

SUNDAY 9:00 A.M. SERVICE – check in starts at 8:30 A.M. and ends at 9:30 A.M.

SUNDAY 11:00 A.M. SERVICE – check in starts at 10:30 A.M. and ends at 11:30 A.M.
FRIDAY    7:30 P.M. SERVICE – check in starts at 7:00 P.M. and ends at 8:00 P.M.

PICK-UP TIMES:

SUNDAY 9:00 A.M. & 11:00 A.M. SERVICE – Immediately following service
FRIDAY    7:30 P.M. SERVICE – Pick up by 10:15 P.M. as the                             
nursery will be closed by 10:30 P.M.

** Please note: we will extend our Friday Night time ONLY DURING CONFERENCES.

 

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

- To lessen any “separation anxiety” in your infant/toddler, please make sure your child is fed and diaper-changed prior to sign-in.  This ensures our “undivided attention” to each child upon arrival to help them adjust to a new classroom environment.  If this is not possible before sign-in, please come into the nursery area and tend to those needs before going to service.

- You will need to bring plenty of diapers, pull-ups, and bottles to cover your child’s needs.  Each one should be labeled with his/her name.  We will provide some snacks and drinks during each service, so please do not give nursery attendants money to purchase food for your toddler. 

- At check-in, you and your child/children will be assigned a specific number and you will be given a color-coded name tag with this number to be placed on your upper right or upper left chest area.  If you are needed at any time during the service, your child’s number will be displayed on one of the sanctuary screens – (e.g. NURSERY #) – PLEASE REPORT TO THE NURSERY AT ONCE!

- In order to provide a healthy environment for all, we ask each parent to honor the following rule:  If your child has a runny nose, cough, diarrhea, vomiting, or fever – please keep them with you.  Your infant/toddler must be fever-free for at least 24 hours before returning to the nursery.  This rule will help to ensure our nursery area remains clean and safe for each child. 

Our nursery/toddler rooms are set up to view live praise & worship from our sanctuary.
