THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO START IF YOU ARE HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME!
What should I expect when I visit Victory Christian Center?
An unmistakable encounter with the Presence of God! Our VCC family has enjoyed The River of God's Presence for many, many years, and we intentionally seek life-altering, course-changing encounters with Him every time we gather. Many who visit us are moved to tears (or laughter) when they first enter the sanctuary and worship begins. And our worship will draw you into these ongoing encounters with God. We worship God in a way that is intense, intimate and inviting, led by skilled worshippers who blend excellence and passion together in their pursuit of God!

You can anticipate God speaking to you "up close and personal" through the teaching of His Word. The messages by Pastor Tony and others (staff and guests) are rooted in Scripture and delivered with a clarity and conviction that invite reflection and response.

You can also expect to meet a wonderfully diverse and loving group of people. In a nutshell, our congregation "looks like Houston" with people of all ethnicities, economic levels and employment backgrounds joyfully learning to live loved and live loving. You will be greeted, smiled at, welcomed and prayed for and much more by a family that is rich because of its diversity and shared passion for God's Presence.

Preparing for your first visit to any church service is bound to raise some questions: How do I get there? What should I wear? What’s available for my kids?

So, here are a few more details. See you soon!
How do I get there?
We are at the south end of Cutten Road, close to Beltway 8 and FM 249. View map.
What should I wear?
One of our core values is acceptance, and that extends to how you dress. We’re more concerned with accepting you where you are and meeting your real-life needs than with what you wear. You will find that some of the VCC family like to dress in their "Sunday best" while others prefer to be more relaxed and comfortable in their attire, so come how you’re comfortable and you’ll fit right in!
What’s available for my kids?
If you come to the Sunday morning service, you can send all your children, aged Pre-K through 5th Grade, to Children's Church. Youth, grades 6th through 12th, have their own service. A nursery is also provided as well as a nursing mother’s suite, where you can stay in touch with the service via VCCTV while rocking that little one in a comfortable chair. Just let a friendly usher or one of our Plugged In team members (look for the Plugged In badge) know the ages of your children and they will help you find the right class for each child. They will have loads of fun while learning about the Bible and experiencing the Presence of God and the love of Christ.

If you come to the Friday night service, you can send all your children, aged Pre-K through 5th Grade, to our Friday night Children's' Church. A nursery is also provided as well as a nursing mother’s suite, where you can stay in touch with the service via VCCTV while rocking that little one in a comfortable chair. Just let an usher know the ages of your children and they will help you find the right class for each child. They will have loads of fun while learning about the Bible and experiencing the loving Presence of God.
What should I do until service starts?
Please make sure to fill out a visitor card while you are here. Any usher or Plugged In team member will be glad to provide you with one as this is our way to communicate with you. We won’t single you out during the service or show up at your door unexpectedly. This card is our way of getting to know you better and is also our future link to letting you know what is happening at Victory Christian Center. You can fill out as much information as you feel comfortable giving, then turn the card in during the offering time or drop it off at the Welcome Center or bookstore on your way out!

For help at any time on Sunday mornings, look for one of our Plugged In team members. They wear "Plugged In" badges to help you identify them, and they are eager to help you in any way they can. Chances are you won't make it very far before encountering one of them, and we know you will feel God's love in their graciousness and kindness.

We’d love for you to stop by the bookstore before you leave to meet a few more friendly folks, buy a candle or two, or pick up a DVD of the service. If you feel like a little treat would help set your day right, stop by Holy Grounds Coffee Shop, located across from the bookstore, for a cup of freshly brewed coffee, a bottle of juice, and a pastry to wake up your senses before worship begins. All first time guests receive a free drink of your choice from the coffee shop. Most of all, please ask us for anything you need to make your visit the best hour of the week!
