Able to Walk Again! Healed of Stroke Complications
Sunday morning, God healed Ruthie! Ruthie is a member of our congregation who had previously suffered a stroke. Her church family has been praying for her through this process and God has healed her in stages. First she was confined to a hospital bed then, when she was finally able to leave the hospital, she was wheelchair bound for quite awhile.
God had healed her to the point that she was able to get around with a cane, but could not walk without it, or bend. Sunday morning Ruthie did not have full use of her left arm, was experiencing a lot of pain, and her heart was bothering her. She felt like she was having a setback - possibly another stroke. Pastor Tom had called for some members of our School of Supernatural Ministry to come forward and pray (in the name of Jesus) for anyone who needed a healing in their body. Some members of the school surrounded Ruthie to pray over her. The Lord gave one of them, Elisha, a scripture for Ruthie, "For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall." (Psalm 18:29 NKJV) The Lord told Ruthie to run. Immediately she began to walk and then to run. One week later Ruthie is still walking cane free and is able to bend. She said the pain is gone and that she was given a new heart that "feels as light as cotton." Others were also healed during this meeting, including a man whose feet were in constant pain. On a scale of 1-10, he said his pain was usually around a 10. Sunday morning the pain in his feet was at a level 6, but by the time he was finished being prayed for, the pain was gone!! God is so good! We give God all the honor and glory and praise for all these healings as well as the ones we are continuing to experience!! We serve such a loving and compassionate God!
