Favor & a New Job

I have been out of a job for 5 months. In my old job I was thrown into the HR dept when the Eng Dept closed & they were about to fire the HR manager. When I was laid off I had been in the HR Dept 3 yrs, without a HR degree or HR certificate.

Looking for another job in HR was very difficult, cause all the criteria was 7-10yrs, HR degree, & or HR certificate. I didn’t fit any of that, so my resume never went to the top, so I could never plea my case of I was more than capable to do the job.

I didn’t get 1 call for an HR position.

I got a call and I got the job!
