Miracle Increase in Income

At the beginning of 2012 the company I work for suspended all pay raises as well as the 401K plan. I was asked to take on a new responsibility within the company that involved a lot of extra work. I prayed about the decision to accept the new responsibility and I told God the only way I would accept it is if I got adequately compensated. When I told my boss she said it would not "fly" with the regional vice presidents because the raises had been suspended. The month came and I took the new responsibility just trusting God for some kind of compensation. I was grateful that I at least have a good job.

I trusted, prayed and waited for 3 months. Then one day I got a call from the regional VP and she told me a raise had been approved and I expected maybe 3% to 4% increase or thereabouts. But God said that I would get 10% increase in salary. My jaw dropped to this day its still on the floor am yet to pick it up. My God continues to amaze me He is so able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. He has shown me favor and I have learned to trust Him, to be still and know that He is God.
